RGB Lighting (Wellness Technology)

RGB lighting is a colour LED lighting technology based on combining three primary colour diodes, red, green and blue, which mix to produce a wide spectrum of colours and shades. In hot tubs, saunas and cooling tubs, RGB diodes are integrated into the structure, most often below the waterline, into benches, or into the cabin perimeter lighting. A control unit allows a static colour, transitions between colours, or synchronisation with music or time of day to be set. The system operates at low voltage and is certified for operation in a humid environment. RGB lighting is the technical basis for the function referred to as chromotherapy, a term describing its use in the context of light atmosphere during sauna sessions.
