Hydromassage is optional: a whirlpool tub is the same tub fitted with a hydromassage system; without it the tub stays a still, hot bath. The pump pushes water into jets set around the perimeter, so the higher the output, the more jets and the stronger the stream. A wood-burning stove is independent of any electrical supply and heats the water in 2 to 4 hours depending on volume. An integrated stove stands inside the tub, heats faster and takes up less room in the garden; an external stove stands outside the tub, leaves the whole interior free and is easier to replace. A 3 kW electric heater plugs into an ordinary 220 V socket; the stronger 6 and 9 kW versions need 380 V. Versions in AISI 316 steel are intended for chemically treated water — the molybdenum in the alloy resists chlorides.

The tub is made of acrylic (non-porous, UV-stable, a smooth surface), fibreglass or stainless steel. The colour of the tub is free of charge: white, cream, light blue, dark blue and grey. The outer cladding comes in spruce at the base price; for an extra charge you can choose thermowood (+€170), WPC composite (+€114) or charred timber (+€227).
What decides is the volume of water, not the footprint — a two-person ofuro holds 750 litres, the largest square models 2,100. The usual tub depth is 88 to 95 cm.

Prices including VAT start at €1,292 and the highest is the stainless steel model — €5,199. The stove, the hydromassage and the thermal cover are separate items, so the price depends on the configuration: the configurator totals it up instantly. The price of every tub includes insulation, delivery to the place of destination in Slovakia, Czechia and Hungary, installation and commissioning, a 2-year warranty and our 4-year service. Lead time is 4 to 8 weeks from payment of the deposit. What warm water, buoyancy and hydrostatic pressure do to the body. Every figure on the cards comes from a published study — the source list is below the cards.
In water the body carries only a fraction of its own weight. With the water at sternum level, 25 to 37 % of body weight rests on the legs, so the spine and the large weight-bearing joints are relieved during the bath.
Water presses on the body around its whole circumference and the pressure rises with depth by about 0.74 mmHg per centimetre — in a tub 88 to 95 cm deep that is comparable to a compression stocking on the lower limbs. After 30 minutes in water, subcutaneous thickness fell by 24 %.
Immersed to the chest, roughly 0.7 litres of blood shifts into the thorax. Stroke volume rises by about a third, cardiac output by 32 % and systemic vascular resistance falls by 30 %. This is the effect of hydrostatic pressure, not of the temperature itself.
Jets with adjustable air intake push water against the back, shoulders and legs. What matters is pump output, not just the number of jets — a stronger pump means higher pressure in each one.
The best-researched effect of warm water is on sleep: a bath at 40 to 42.5 °C one to two hours before bed shortens sleep onset and improves subjective sleep quality. The mechanism is the drop in core temperature after the bath, not the bath itself.
A cold plunge tub is for the cold bath after a sauna. Cold triggers vasoconstriction and a release of noradrenaline — during an hour-long immersion in 14 °C water its plasma level rose by 530 %. A short plunge gives a smaller response of the same kind.
The figures are group averages from the protocols of the studies listed, not a promise for an individual. Most measurements were made with immersion to the neck or the sternum — seated in a tub the response is smaller. A warm bath is not a treatment. With unstable heart disease, during pregnancy, with an acute infection or after alcohol, talk to your doctor first; never leave children in a tub unattended.

The material of the tub decides what water treatment it tolerates and how it is cleaned. The water volume decides the heating time and the running cost.

The colour of the tub is free of charge. The pearl finish is the only paid variant.

Cladding is not only about looks. With year-round use it decides, together with the insulation and the cover, how fast the water cools down.

A wood-burning stove heats the water with no supply connection; an electric heater maintains the temperature between baths. Most often they are combined.

Heating time depends on the volume, the outside temperature and whether the tub has insulation and a cover.
Heating with wood takes 2 to 4 hours depending on volume and uses one or two armfuls of wood. With a cover and insulation the water stays warm until the next day, so the second bath starts with a top-up only. Massage is a choice, not a given. Every system means a pump, electricity and maintenance — it is worth deciding in advance, because it cannot be added later.

Accessories that are hard to add once the tub is installed and filled.
Without filtration the water has to be changed after every second bath. With filtration and disinfection it lasts many times longer.
If the tub is used regularly, filtration pays for itself in saved water and chemicals.

Not every tub tolerates every chemical — this has to be matched up at the point of choosing.
Everything around water must have its own protection. This is not something to add later.
A filled tub weighs several tonnes. The base is the thing that is hardest to put right afterwards.
Three things we need to know before delivery.
The base must be level and load-bearing — a compacted surface, paving or concrete footings. Then an outlet for draining the water, ideally to a soakaway or the sewer, and access to the equipment for any service work. We deliver the tub in one piece, so the width of the access route matters too. For a tub on a terrace the load capacity of the structure has to be checked. Our technician verifies both the load capacity and the outlet size at the site visit.
